GGN aimed for the population residing within a Geopark, as well as enthusiasts of these regions, to participate in this celebration. This enables them to share their perspectives, sensations, and their connection with these extraordinary landscapes. Among these three contests, one is specifically designed for young people aged 12 to 18 residing in a UNESCO Geopark.

With communication tools easily adaptable to each national or local language, competitively priced at a global level, and featuring a premium promotion site already translated into three languages, these competitions offer a fantastic opportunity to engage and mobilize the entire population of your territory, as well as your visitors.

Earth Visual Odyssey is a celebration of the symbiotic relationship between humans and Earth’s geology. It encourages you to encapsulate the dialogue between humanity and geology across UNESCO’s 213 Geoparks. Stone’s Stories contest celebrates our relationship with Earth’s silent storytellers - stones, minerals, fossils, and landscapes. It invites participants to share narratives expressing their unique bond with these natural wonders. Each story, whether about a pebble or a landscape, contributes to Earth’s collective history, reflecting our enduring connection with nature and commitment to its preservation.
